Climbers
Climbers are one of the most versatile plants in the garden being able to spread fast and trail decoratively over or through other plants, buildings or structures while also making good ground cover.

Some climbers are self-clinging and do not require any tying. They can have spectacular flowers such as many of the clematis and rose families. For fantastic Autumn displays of colour there are Virginia creepers.Climbers can be evergreen, fragrant and even flower in the winter months, they can also be grown in containers or in the borders. The scope for climbers is endless.

We always try to carry a large diverse selection of climbers and will always try to source more unusual varieties if requested.

Roses
These plants have been around many centuries and have a fascinating history, yet roses are also a valuable plant in the modern garden. Grow mostly in a sunny spot with their roots well fed and watered they will repay you with a mass of colour and scent throughout the summer months.

Many modern roses are repeat flowering and you can get ground cover roses, small patio roses (ideal for containers) also bedding roses ideal for grouping for a large splash of colour. There are standard roses (roses grown on a stem) and climbing roses for walls and structures in the garden.

We do not grow roses on the nursery, we leave it to the experts, but we keep our rose area well stocked most of the year with favourites such as Golden Wedding, Happy Retirement and Warm Wishes to name but a few.
